FLORIDA

So we just got home from a very exciting trip to Florida. We went to Disney World! My parents and my two nephews (David and Kage) were with us. It was such a fun week. I got to know my nephews a lot more and got to take DJ to Disney for the first time.

He hadn't even been to Disney Land. It was really fun to see his reaction to all the rides. He wasn't expecting so much detail I think. This is ganna be a long post sorry but it was an 8 day trip!

Our first day was spent on the Siesta beach in Tampa. It was beautiful weather and was so crazy crowded. I guess the locals all go to the beach on Memorial Day. My dad has a digital water camera so we got some really fun photos in the water.




DJ pretty much spent the whole trip pestering Kage. He threw him around in the water every chance he got. Kage loved it!

We were headed to go Para sailing but the boat broke down so we weren't able to go up but we got this nice picture!

After the beach we ate at this restaurant right on the waters edge. It was a really fun spot.


On our second day we decided to start out Disney World with Magic Kingdom.



My mom went and found a pin that said 1st Time and pinned it to DJ's butt without him knowing. It was hilarious when he found it an two hours later.

We ended the day with getting stuck in a down pour we were soaked while we watched the fireworks.

We went to Disney Hollywood the third day but only spent about half the day cause everyone was getting heat stroke. IT WAS SO HOT! So after a few hours we went swimming at the condo and then to Downtown Disney to eat at Planet Hollywood.





Then on the fourth we went to Epcot.
Right when we started to hit all the "Countries" a serious downpour of rain came. We got hit with this crazy wind storm too. It was intense running from country to country.



And spent the fifth in Animal Kingdom.
It was only the second time I've ever been to Animal Kingdom. They had a bunch of new rides since the last time we were there. They had a new roller coaster that was so much fun, for sure a new favorite.

The last day we went to Cocoa Beach and went Boggy Boarding. It was so fun except DJ got fried and him and sunburns are no good together.






Then we went back to Magic Kingdom for a final time in the park.




We spent the day we left going to breakfast at the Wilderness Lodge Resort then did some shopping in Downtown Disney.



It was such a great week. We really enjoyed it. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us crash your party! We really appreciated all that you did for us. Love you.
