Random May Post

So Life around here has been pretty boring. There isn't too much to blog about so here are a few random side notes.

We recently had one of Dj's Dads photographs enlarged and framed. I have really liked this print since the first time I saw it. It looks really good in my front entry too.

Then the only other thing that has been going on is MOTORCYCLE stuff. That has become Dj's life. Thats all he talks, looks at, and does... MOTORCYCLE. So everyday he has a new friend with a motorcycle outside talking and going on rides.

This picture is funny cause of the huge branch in their faces. I took it from the window.

Recently he restored his friends bike. He is truly talented when it comes to this kind of stuff. He would be so good on that American Chopper show where they build custom motorcycles. Here are a few pictures of his friends.

This is a before and after picture

Anyway today DJ went on an organized ride called the Brandon's Ride. It's to support families who have lost a loved one in Iraq. He said there were about 200 bikes and they drove about 250 miles around northern Utah. He really liked it. I opted not to go cause of the morning cold and I have a cold. But from how he talks about it I really want to go on the next ride. He only took one picture he said this isn't even close to the group they had but its an idea.
Anyway I hope all you Mothers have a fabulous Mothers Day tomorrow. Happy May Days.

The picture is very cool! and I love seeing all the bikes riding together in a pack. Maybe I can go on a 1 mile ride around the neighborhood when I get home...if you'll let me borrow your helmet, that is!

Wow! Chels-that picture looks amazing. I LOVE it in that frame! Where did he take that picture? It reminds me of a scene out of a Jane Austen novel! The Motorcycle rides look like fun. That's awesome to go on rides for a good cause. Well, love you guys!

Welcome to the life of a motorcycle wife. I've always loved that picture as well and that frame you picked is perfect.
