MARVIN
He is my sister Misty's dog or I should say my nephew David's. Anyway they went to Hawaii for the week and asked DJ and I to watch their boxer. I have always wanted a dog like more then you could ever imagine. This week so far has made me realize I'm ok that we don't have one. They are a lot more difficult then I thought.

Marvin takes up our whole bed at night....

and chooses to sleep not at your feet but directly on you! He weighs a lot.
We have to vacuum every day cause he sheds EVERYWHERE.
Every like three hours you have to take him out to potty and then picking up "potty" is NASTY!
One morning I could not find my Contact case anywhere.... well in the bathroom. I didn't think to look out in my living room where is where I found it.. chewed up.
He escaped one day and I freaked out chasing him down the street thinking he was ganna get hit by a car.... then DJ yelled his name and he went straight to him. I guess I just don't have the "DOG TALENT" I'm not dominant enough. They don't listen to me. I'm to nice.
The people who live below us said that he whines the whole time we are at work. Luckily they said they didn't mind at all. Anyway so this has been our exciting week.

Then we even went yesterday and bought helmets for the motorcycle... All that is left is registering it. Then as soon as it warms up we are taking a trip to Mesquite to do some pool sitting.... I'm in need of good ol sunshine.

You are hillarious! How fun to just babysit the dog and then give it back after you're sick of it. He seems fun! I don't know about the sleeping in my bed though...that's kinda hairy! Glad you finally decided on some helmets and it's not even a silly looking one.
oh my heck! i want a dog too! they're so cute.
All I have to say is don't do it. As cute as it might be for now don't do it.
Thanks for the good chuckle! The thought of you running down the street trying to chase him is SO FUNNY! And of course, DJ probably watches laughing, and then calls his name, so he'll come back. Too funny! How are you guys? We sure do miss you. Glad you got helmets and will be safe! Oh and I could use some pool sitting too! Jealous! Love ya!
I'm sure it would be different if he was your dog, not a borrowed dog, but animals (and kids) are always more work and messier than you ever dreamed of. Temporary pets are the best. I love your helmets...and can I come on your Mesquite pool-sitting trip? :)
I don't have "Dog Talent" either and it makes me mad that Chris does
You make me laugh out loud. And...watching you chase Marvin was pretty funny! Love the helmets.
Thanks a ton for watching the dog! It was so nice of you. Hopefully he wasn't too big a pain. He is big that's why he sleeps with David not us. I also make the kids chase him and clean up after him. If you ever want to borrow him again we'll be glad to go on vacation again. Kelly said kids are still a ton more work.
