The most exciting NEWS..... Dj and I are engaged! I'm so excited. It's not really a shock since everyone already knew it was coming but it's official now! It was the most romantic thing to. We spent two days in Miami before we took off on the cruise. It was Superbowl Sunday hahaha and we just got back from dinner and watching the game. We had been just sitting in the room when Dj asked me if I wanted to go out on a walk on the beach. I love the beach any time of day so of course I said yes!
There was a beach right off our hotel so we were walking along the shore and it was beautiful.... Big full moon lit up everything and the city lights glowed. There were a few Cruise ships off shore that lit up the water. About after a min of walking (he said he was to nervous so he couldn't wait any longer) he asked me how much I loved him. lol I answered with the predictable, "more then I can ever explain" stuff. Then I leaned in and kissed him. HE PUSHED ME AWAY! I was like what the crap, but then he got down on one knee and said "Will you Marry ME!..... I already asked your Dad" I just started laughing because of the dad comment. Then of course I said YES! It was so perfect. We have a ring all picked out but It is getting sized and engraved and all that jazz so when we left for the cruise it wasn't ready so I have a "TEMP" Ring for a little while. I'll post some pictures of the real one when I get it. But it was the most amazing night of my life!

Deej looks like a dork haha the flash was bright but Katie and Joey were there like a min after they were hiding in bushes to film it all happen. So they took some pictures and then headed back to the room.
So... that's the exciting news. But the cruise was really fun only thing wrong with it was that it was Florida's RECORD LOW Temp while we were there. It was 50 almost the whole time we were there. We were in coats are whole cruise. We did get in the water once and I thought I was ganna die. The water was warmer then outside.

one of our Ports got canceled because of bad weather (go figure) so we had a whole day at sea with nothing to do so we gambled. I won fifty bucks on Black Jack! Trevor and Mel lost a lot! HAHA

THIS was the ART MUSEUM we had fun with the Naked statue. We can be a little child like at times. It was fun to say the least.
The last time on the beach! It was beautiful Blue water and we were so sad we didn't even get to play in it.
Right before we left to come home. Our ship and us! It was a sad goodbye since the weather was supposed to warm up the next day!

OK!!! I deserve a phone call! Why am I getting this story on your blog? I did hear from Mom before you got off the plane...but I still thought you would call me. Anyway, Congratulations! We are so excited for you! What a romantic setting! We're sorry you did have better weather for your cruise...that's a bummer. Atleast you got to see cool things. We can't wait for a phone call for more details! :)
Yay! Congratulations! Let us know when you have a date picked out! :) Yeah, that's too bad you spent all that money for a cruise and then had to sit on the beach with jackets on. I appreciate the Fargo picture. Atleast someone is appreciating are chilling temperatures!
Ya - why didn't you call to announce your news??? I was shocked when MOM told me the other day (after you were home from your trip) - man, you'd think I live really far away or something... :) You need to come show me your ring - even if it is temporary. When will you get your "real" ring? I really am happy for you! You seem very happy and excited. Even though the temps were cool, your trip looks dreamy.
So where was MY text about it!?! Yep I'm officially offended. We're moving back to AF at the end of March so we HAVE to get together!!!
Just so you know who this is it is one of DJ's many sisters. Anyway, Congrats to the both of you we are so excited to have you as part of the family & DJ is definately marrying above himself I can't believe you got him to do a facial, Good for you!!!
