MERRY CHRISTMAS

So I've become the most random blogger ever. I do it on random days with the most random pictures and posts. So, sorry but here is another random one.

This month has been really fun with holiday activities. Dj and I have gone to temple square lights, we took tracks up to the square, walked to have dinner then decided it was to cold to do the lights so we skipped it. Talk about lazy people. That's us!





See can't you tell how cold I am.... Not as cold as you Meg, I know. To cold for lights that never change. We'll go next year instead.

There was gingerbread to be made. Dj really wanted to make a gingerbread house. So, we are pretty broke $ from Christmas so we needed a free long project to keep us from spending more so..... We made a "from scratch" gingerbread house with out even having Mom there. I made it, Dj cut out a pattern to look cartoony, we cooled it and decorated it. I'm very proud of myself if you can't tell. I'm not much of a cook so to have it turn out was a big deal!






Dj is quite the Artist so he drew it up and cut it out. It turned out very fun. Really Disney looking.



Then on to some randoms......






Well to add some sad little news... My poor kitty Simba has had a really hard month. We bought him a warming bed especially for cats so when he sleeps outside he'll be kept warm. Well the bed must have had a short of something in it cause after about a week of him sleeping in it he had no fur on his tummy it was all blisters and puss. He hadn't really left the bed in the whole week so the bed burned his entire tummy. It was really gross. He was just covered in scabs and blood. I couldn't believe it. So the poor thing is getting back to a somewhat healthy state. It's about time to put him to sleep but I can't get myself to do it. He has been stuck by my hip for what eleven years? I love the poor thing!





Then so at least we leave on happy news, Dj gave me a Amerillas Bulb to plant and it bloomed a few days ago. It is so gorgeous I had to show all of you. It is the most beautiful red color and it is about three feet tall.
